ED Awards FAU Federal Assistance for Displaced Students
每日吃瓜 was recently awarded $88,400 in new federal funding from the to assist in the continued cost of educating 每日吃瓜 displaced by the 2017 hurricanes. Nine 每日吃瓜 from Puerto Rico and one from the U.S. Virgin Islands were able to begin classes at FAU in August because of this grant.听
鈥淧uerto Rico and the U.S.V.I. have been on a long road to recovery and I am hopeful that this new federal funding will continue to provide some relief to families with college 每日吃瓜,鈥 said .听
Last fall, FAU announced that out-of-state tuition fees would be waived for Puerto Rican and U.S.V.I. 每日吃瓜 whose families were adversely affected by Hurricane Maria. A total of 14 每日吃瓜 benefited from those waivers and took the opportunity to move and continue their schooling in Florida.
